Obiora Ensemble @ “Virée Classique 2023”

The Virée Classique welcomes back the Ensemble Obiora for a musical escapade to the Age of Enlightenment. Violinists Andrew Wan and Tanya Charles Iveniuk will strike up a dialogue in the Symphonie concertante by the Chevalier de Saint-Georges, a hugely successful composer in the court of Marie-Antoinette. Mozart, meanwhile, captivated Viennese audiences with his famous A Little Night Music!

  • Joseph Bologne: Symphonie concertante in G major, for two violins and string orchestra, op. 13, no. 2

  • Edvard Grieg: Holberg Suite, op. 40
