For its opening concert, Ensemble Obiora welcomes the young and dynamic French conductor Samy Rachid. For his first performance in Canada, he will lead no less than 40 musicians in a rich and diversified program including the beautiful Violin Concerto No. 1 by Florence Price, featuring Obiora’s concertmaster, Tanya Charles Iveniuk.
